Membership Information
We offer a number of membership options at Brimpton Airfield depending on whether you fly regularly or you wish to be part of our active social scene.
It is important to remember that if you fly at Brimpton you need some sort of membership
The following Pilots require full membership
- Individually own an aircraft based at Brimpton
- Are a member in a Group aircraft at Brimpton
- Storage use at Brimpton
- Fly Models & Drones (N.B. CAA stipulates A/C over 250g must be registered)!
Full Members
- Members are eligible for free entry to any events
- Free Landings at Brimpton during the membership period
- Free Tea and Coffee
- Key Access to the club house
Summer Membership - Summer April - Sept
- Members are eligible for free entry to any events
- Free Landings at Brimpton during the membership period
- Free Tea and Coffee
Modeller Full Member
- Members are eligible for free entry to any events
- Model Flying at Brimpton
- Free Tea and Coffee
- Key Access to the club house
Social Members
- Members are eligible for free entry to any events
- Free Tea and Coffee
NOTE: Non resident Pilots can obtain free landings by having full membership
The membership period runs from 1st January until 31st December and is available for Full, Social, Modeller categories.
There is an initial joining admin fee and Club house key deposit of (£10 / £10 Key) Total £20
A partial membership discount will be given for a mid-year application (POA).
Full membership is for pilots who make use of the flying facilities. 2021 cost £125
Social membership is for those people who have an interest in aircraft 2021 cost £50
Modeller membership is for those people who wish to fly their models 2021 cost £125.00 (see Conditions)
Summer Membership - Post Covid-19 2021 Summer April - Sept 2021 cost £75.00
It is assumed that all members where possible will help out at flyin events.
